Permits

Type of Permit:

• Building Permits

                          Residential   -   $0.35 per sq ft

                          Commercial -   $0.40 per sq ft + $0.50 per $1000.00 of construction cost up to $2,000,000.00 +$75 inspection fees.

These two cover all individual permits.

• Individual Permits

                     Plumbing - $50

                     Electrical - $50

                     Mechanical (HVAC) - $50

                     Fire - $50

                     Demolition - $50

• Construction Permits

                      Residential Excavation and Clearing - $50 for 1 lot  /  $150 for more than 1 lot up to 5 lots

                       Includes a city issues stormwater permit. More than 5 lots require a subdivision permit. 1 or more acres requires General Stormwater Permit from Arkansas DEQ.

                       Retaining Walls, Decks and Fences - $50 Residential / $100 Commercial 

                       Commercial Excavation and Clearing - $150

                                    Includes city issued stormwater permit. 1 or more acres requries a General Stormwater Permit from Arkansas DEQ.

                       Open Ditch and Boring - $250 per crew per project

                       New Subdivision - $500

                                        Includes a city issues stormwater permit. 1 or more acres requires a General Stormwater permit from Arkansas DEQ. Must submit commission approved plat and plans with application. 

There is a Data Processing Fee of $5 for Residential and $7 for Commercial.
